Visiting Brooke

Over the next few days, between the Lynwood and Pleasanton Shows, I’ll be visiting with Jason and Kelley and Brooke. Jason and I have books to discuss, rods to cast, and planning to do. Kelley and I have Brooke stories to catch up on and good times to share, and of course I have to continue Brooke’s casting, rowing, and fly tying instructions–one can’t start too early. She is already showing a strong propensity for the angling life–note the great clothing she has selected to wear.

What a cutie! Congratulations on Grandchild #1!

It was a pleasure to meet you in Lynnwood. We just celebrated our 7th grandchild about 3 weeks ago followed a week and a half later by my 93 year old Mom going home to be with the Lord. Both were great celebrations (though the second was a bit bittersweet) and both were wonderful blessings.

My wife and I prayed last night for your safe travels, as you had told me you were going to visit Jason’s family when you left the show.

I enjoyed your presentations immensely and am now reading the first book.

    Tight lines and blessings!

    Jim

    Gary-
it’s good to know that with your busy schedule- you are making time to see your family and that beautiful Granddaughter!
You NEVER get those moments back!

It was a pleasure to see you and learn from you again at the Pleasanton, CA show.
We discussed that you will be reissuing your Video/CD’s-
I hope to see those available soon- ‘Fishing the Dry Fly’ is still my primer before each season after 25+ years…
