Long Flies Sampler

Updated (see below).

Jason is slaving away over not only hot pixels, but hot photos as well. There’s a great deal that goes into making a page look as nice as the ones below. This is the first page of flies in Chapter 10 in our soon-to-be-released book, Long Flies. I think it’s absolutely top shelf.

The updated page after some layout/text tweaks and color correction work by JB:

    Gary,

Awesome flies! Wondering if the order should be different. The images are left to right – top to bottom but the descriptions are top to bottom – left to right.

    Cheers,

    John

John—JB stepping in here for a moment. Funny you should mention the list order. I was working on that late last night, actually. Also have some pages where order gets a bit jumbled due to the fly sizes messing with the layout (some flies are also too big to fit on the page, so require a fair amount of reduction). I’m trying to get it all to make the most sense given each page’s set-up. Hopefully you’ll like the end result.

I’ll post another (revised) page here and on FF&W later.

Hi John, As Jason noted, this is the first shot at the page layout. We certainly appreciate not only your sharp eye but letting us know of the problem. All will be fixed in the final edition. Best, GB
